What therapy with Angela may feel like

Angela’s style is collaborative, direct, and compassionate. She creates room for honesty without judgment while helping you slow down and look beneath the immediate conflict. Instead of deciding who is right or wrong, therapy explores the patterns, emotions, experiences, and unmet needs influencing what is happening.

People can care deeply about one another and still become caught in cycles of conflict, distance, defensiveness, or disconnection. Angela helps clients recognize those cycles, communicate more openly, and explore new ways of relating—to themselves and to the people who matter most.

Her work is systemic, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client or relationship. She draws from Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, and relational approaches, combining practical tools with deeper exploration.

About Angela

What drew me to this work?

Before becoming a marriage and family therapist, I spent more than a decade supporting couples through marriage-focused groups, relationship coaching, and community programs. That experience deepened my interest in how relationships shape our lives and led me to pursue clinical training so I could help individuals and couples navigate communication, intimacy, trauma, and change.

What I value in therapy

I want you to feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and respected as the person who knows your experiences, values, and life most intimately. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and direct. We work together to understand what is happening and find tools and approaches that genuinely fit you.

Outside of therapy

Outside of therapy, I am a mother, partner, longtime homeschooler, business owner, choir singer, and lifelong learner. I value laughter, rest, healthy boundaries, meaningful connection, and making room for people to be fully human.
